Approve, by motion, the 2025 Parks Division equipment replacement purchase as scheduled in the Capital
Improvement Plan.
Background/Discussion
The Parks Division requests authorization to purchase a Caterpillar model 255 compact track loader with
broom attachment, brush cutter, and hydraulic positioning pallet forks.
The compact track loader replaces the division's existing compact track loader and is vital for performing
various tasks including material loading, stump grinding, compost site maintenance, etc. In addition, the
forestry mulching attachment will be utilized for maintenance in our parks and trail management.
