Acknowledge Elk River Cub Scout Pack 111

Action Requested
Mayor Dietz to invite the cub scouts to the front of the room to participate in the Pledge of Allegiance. The
scouts will stand up front for a few minutes afterwards for photo opportunities.
Background/Discussion
Den Leader James Wrubel will be in attendance with the WEBELO 1 Den, Elk River Cub Scout Pack 111,
which is made up of fourth graders.
The scouts are currently working on their citizenship requirements and met with the mayor prior to the
Council meeting to talk about the Council's role in government, how members are elected, and to attend a
meeting to see how government works.
