Action Requested
No action is required as there is no need to rezone the property.
Background/Discussion
Staff consulted with the City Attorney and determined that rezoning is not required, as the proposed use is
already classified as a conditional use.
Although the initial intent was to establish a joint Planned Unit Development (PUD) between the two
municipalities to ensure uniform regulations across both parcels, the Conditional Use Permit (CUP) process
will be reviewed with proposed conditions added to achieve this consistency, while maintaining simplicity for
the property owner and the city.
