Rude, M. O'Brian, L. yogatchnik I. Meeting called to order by J. Dingle, Chairman. II. Les Anderson moved, seconded by P. Baily, to accept the minutes. The motion passed unanimously. III. The treasurers report was read and unanimously approved. IV. Old Business 1. J. Dingle contacted Marv Dreissig and Marv set up three skating dates. The total cost was $270. (i45/hour X 6 hrs) 2. J. Dingle mentioned that the jount goals committee has not set up a meeting with the &,mmunity Ed. as of yet. 3. The problem of additional members was discussed. We now have 8 members and should have 12. It was suggested by the ER Rec. Board to the City Council to add one student member. The City Council accepted the idea and suggested we have two student members on the board. Les Anderson also suggested we request the addition of a senior citizen on the board. V. New Business 1. Revised budaet tor 1980. $8620 +_ 500 (skating rink) ~9120 Citp Council don. 8lQO Money remaining in ( . ) 79 bu<i8et -to ~- make 9120 * Extra money from 79 bud,et to be returned to City Council 2. Senior Citizens: Jim suggested that the Rec Board again.. give the Seniiar Citizen budget to Ivan Berg and that he use the money according to the Ree Board guidelines. This was done with the 79 budget. 3. Hanke Ice Rink: Las A. moved and Mike O. seconded that the Rec. Board pay the remaining $300 to Community Ed. This is part of the $500 earmarked for the Ranke ice rinj by the City Council. 4. Town Baseball: The Rec Board recommended a meeting of the following representatives on Jan 22 to discuss use of a b~seball park. -Rec board Baseball Rep -Ci ty Council Business Community Rep -Softball Rep . .. . ~ f:J // uO' (jj) I . . A tri p to the ChAnhassans If I 00, I 00" in Feb. 3/5 the cost of the bus $58 15 . Les Anderson moved and Patty Baily seconded the motion to sponsor the above programs through Community Ed. 6. Pat ~JXo1s make a motion to have the arUlual dinner meeting at Will's Place on Feb 12,at 7:00 pm. Jim Dingle seconded. The motion passed unanimously. 7. P. Baily make a motion to sponsor 2 ads (4 X 4) for the Baton Twirling Program. Les seconded. 8. There being no further business, the meeting was adgourned until our dinner meeting at 7:60 pm on Feb. 12, 1950. .
