Portner, Kaylin Clement, Communications Director(via Zoom) and

Members Absent: None
Others Present: Jake Pace, Government Access Cable Coordinator
1. Call Meeting to Order/Roll Call
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Economic
Development Authority Together Elk River Sub-Committee was called to order at
9>05 a.m.by Jennifer Wagner.
2. Consider Agenda
Moved by Charlie and seconded by Debbi to approve the agenda. Motion
carried 7-0.
3. Consent Agenda
Moved by Charlie and seconded by Debbi to approve the agenda. Motion
carried 7-0.
4. Together Elk River Marketing Campaign
The group watched the ShoppER video and blooper reel and discussed including a
disclaimer to help offset any issues with mask wearing or lack of. Kaylin will work on
the verbiage for the disclaimer and a social media promo plan. The video will be
brought to the Brand Ambassador meeting.
The subcommittee then discussed the 2021 Spirit Week. Should their be a special day
each day. The group discussed a “Best of” and Fun Fact Friday that would help
incorporate service industry businesses. Colleen will draft an email to the Brand
Ambassador to invite them to the upcoming meeting.
5. Adjournment
Moved by Debbi and seconded by Charlie to adjourn the meeting. Motion
carried 7-0.
There being no further business, Jennifer Wagner adjourned the meeting of the Elk
River Economic Development Authority Together Elk River Subcommittee at 10:03
a.m.
