Members Present: Jennifer Wagner, Economic Development Specialist, Colleen Eddy,
Debbi Rydberg, Brent O’Neil, and Katie Jenison
Members Absent: Charlie Blesener

1. Call Meeting to Order/Roll Call
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Economic
Development Authority Together Elk River Sub-Committee was called to order at
4:31 p.m.by Jennifer Wagner.
2. Consider Agenda
Moved by Debbi and seconded by Katie to approve the agenda. Motion
carried 5-0.
3. Consent Agenda
Moved by Debbi and seconded by Katie to approve the agenda. Motion
carried 5-0.
4. Together Elk River Marketing Campaign
The group discussed “Community Business and Employee Appreciation Week” The
new Spirit Week was changed from August 23-27 to September 20-24. Action items
that came out of the discussion:
Jennifer will contact Brandon, a graphic designer she has worked with to
see if he can help us with the needed graphics:
o Event “Branding” logo
o Posters 11x17 print 50
o Flyers 8.5 x 11 print 300
o Ad in newspaper
Colleen will check on pricing for ¼ page full color ad to run
for 3 weeks
Katie will create content that will be utilized for the lead into the event
Kaylin will create content for the week of the event to post on social media
sites

o Post to submit pictures by September 15 to help promote the event
Debbi will create a QR code and link it to the City’s Together Elk River
webpage
Colleen will share the Brand Ambassador list with Debbi
Debbi will send the Brand Ambassador information on the event
Debbi and Kaylin confirm the list of businesses who have digital billboards
Debbi will research the cost to promote the event on the digital billboards
Weekly winners (nominees and nominators) will receive $25 in chamber
bucks – Debbi
Colleen will connect with Parks and Rec to see if there is an intern that can
help deliver flyers and posters to businesses
5. Adjournment
Moved by Colleen and seconded by Debbi to adjourn the meeting. Motion
carried 5-0.
There being no further business, Jennifer Wagner adjourned the meeting of the Elk
River Economic Development Authority Together Elk River Subcommittee at 5:21
p.m.
