Introduction
The 2006 budget contains funding for the purchase of a one ton truck with a dump box and equipment.
Discussion
The small dump trucks are heavily used and are a very versatile piece of equipment for this department.
The cab and chassis to be purchased is a "heavy duty" one ton which would be better suited to hauling
the loads and pulling trailers.
Financial Impact
The cab and chassis will be purchased with equipment certificates. The box and equipment will be
purchased later from another vendor, also with equipment certificates.

process from Elk River Ford for $34,000.
