Resolution 25-13
A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Amending the
Comprehensive Plan to Update the Land Use for Certain Parcels for
Highway Business and Mixed Residential
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462.355, Subdivision 2, prescribes the procedure
for amending the Comprehensive Plan, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on January 28, 2025, and
recommended approval regarding the Comprehensive Plan amendment request for the
property depicted in Exhibit A, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Comprehensive Plan amendment request
and finds the following:
1. The proposed land use is consistent with the surrounding land uses.
2. The use would not have adverse impacts on the surrounding land uses.
3. The proposed changes are in general conformance to the adopted
Comprehensive Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota, as follows: The Land Use Plan be amended to updated, and reflect the
depiction described in Exhibit A, including both Highway Commercial and Mixed
Residential guidance.
Passed and adopted this 7' day of April 2025.
