Fire Relief Association Appointments

Action Requested
Approve, by motion, Assistant City Administrator Joe Stremcha and Mayor John Dietz to the Fire Relief
Association Board with a term expiration of December 31, 2025.
Background/Discussion
Per state law, fire relief associations must have three city trustees on their board. One member must be the
fire chief. The city must appoint the other two members on an annual basis. Historially, the mayor and a
finance person have been the two city trustees.
