DISCUSSION:
• Office walk-in traffic for May consisted of 90 customers, averaging 30 per week over the
three-week period.
• ERMU disconnections for May
o Cycle 1 – 30 disconnections.
o Cycle 2 – 8 disconnections.
o Cycle 3 – 21 disconnections.
o Cycle 4 – 13 disconnections.
• A significant amount of staff time is currently dedicated to the Advanced Metering
Infrastructure (AMI) project. Customer service representatives are actively making
outbound calls to schedule water meter replacements. Additionally, the Billing Specialist
is collaborating closely with the Meter Tech department to facilitate the exchange of 2S
electric meters. The AMI team continues to hold regular meetings on Thursday
mornings.
• Currently there are three active residential solar photovoltaic projects planned or under
construction in the ERMU service territory.
• The Lead Customer Service Representative participated in Elk River High School’s Bite of
Reality event, a hands-on simulation where 9th graders practiced making real-life
financial decisions based on assigned life scenarios.
• Our summer IT Intern Michael started on May 27.
• The IT team remains actively engaged in collaboration with Marco to advance key
security initiatives for 2025.
