Resolution 25-23
A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging
Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $2,500 donation from Zimmerman Livonia
Fire Relief Association with the intent it be used by the Parks and Recreation Department
for park equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four -fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend Zimmerman Livonia Fire Relief
Association for their donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember
Grupa and duly seconded by Councitmember Wagner, and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof. Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Calva, Grupa, and
Wagner and the following against: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed
and adopted.
The following members were present: MUor Dietz, Councilmembers Calva, Grupa, and
Wagner and the following absent: Councilmember Bever.
Passed and adopted this 19 day of May 2025.
