Adopt, by motion, Resolution 25-29 accepting a hand-crafted metal sign donation with sincere appreciation
from Sloan Sherrett, Brody Ternus, and Royce Tolbert as a part of their Elk River High School DECA Serves
project with the intent that it be displayed at the Furniture and Things Community Event Center.
Background/Discussion
Sloan Sherrett is a part-time Facility Worker Ice Resurfacer at the FT Center.

Resolution 25-29
A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging
Contributions
WHEREAS,the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS,the City of Elk River received a hand-crafted metal sign from Sloan Sherrett,
Brody Ternus, and Royce Tolbert as a part of their Elk River High School DECA Serves
project with the intent it be displayed at the Furniture and Things Community Event Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four-fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend Sloan Sherrett, Brody Ternus, and Royce
Tolbert for their donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember
