Change Order #2: 2025 Street Improvements

Action Requested
Approve, by motion, Change Order #2 for the 2025 Street Improvements.
Background/Discussion
The Deerfield Park Sport Court is scheduled for replacement due to failing pavement. Park Construction, the
general contractor for the 2025 Street Improvements, is capable and willing to complete these improvements
via change order. The scope of the change order is as follows:
▪ Remove the existing section, rebuild, and pave a new court
▪ Repaint the court similar to the existing layout
▪ Remove and replace basketball hoop (as needed)
▪ Install 10' chain link fence along the west side of the court
▪ Stump grinding in area 9 of the original contract
▪ Miscellaneous shouldering along area 7 of the original contract
Financial Impact
$57,127.65 will be paid through the Park Improvement Fund. The remaining $25,877.04 will be paid through
the Street Improvement Fund.
