Cannabound Manager Jacqara Jackson and IT Network Specialist Jake Tourville will be introduced to the City
Council.
Background/Discussion
Ms. Jackson holds an Associate's degree in Science for Health Professions and a Bachelor's degree in
Environmental and Earth Science. She has worked for the Detroit Parks and Recreation Department as both a
program manager and outdoor educator. She is a co-founder and property manager at Copperhouse Detroit,
which is a cannabis-themed, short-term rental property. She is also the operations manager at Sozo
Companies, overseeing the cultivation and processing of cannabis. Ms. Jackson is excited to find this position
and join her spouse, who has been working in the upstart of the cannabis industry in Minnesota.
Mr. Tourville holds an AAS in Networking and Data Services from South Central College in Mankato where
he also worked as an IT lab assistant. He served as an artillery data systems operator in the Army National
Guard and has been working as a service desk technician II at the Mankato Clinic for the past year.
