Resolution 25-58
A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Accepting Funds
from the Sherburne County Agricultural Society
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
W H E REAS, the City of Elk River received a $150 from the Sherburne County
Agricultural Society to the Elk River Fire Department due to their win as Grand Champion
in the Sherburne County Fair parade.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four -fifths
vote, to acknowledge and accept the winning funds of $150.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember
Gru42a and duly seconded by Councilmember Calva, and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Dietz Councilmembers Berger Calva Grua and
WWa er and the following against: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed
and adopted.
The following members were present: Mayor Dietz. Councilmembers Beyer. Calva. Grupa.
and Wagner. and the following absent: none
