Resolution 26-41
A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Appointing an Absentee
Ballot Board for the 2026 Statewide Primary
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 203B.121 requires municipalities that administer early
voting establish an absentee ballot board, which can consist of election judges and/or city
staff deputized by the city clerk; and
WHEREAS, Sherburne County has designated the City of Elk River as an early voting
location for residents of Elk River, which triggers the requirements in M.S. 203B.121.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota, as follows: Deputize Dawn Robertson, Wanda McCoy, and Jennifer Dengerud
as deputy city clerks, appoint the following individuals to serve on the Absentee Ballot
Board for issuing early voting pursuant to 203B.121, and authorize the city clerk to appoint
replacement ballot board members as required.
