BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
ELK RIVER MUNICIPAL UTILITIES
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ELK RIVER MUNICIPAL UTILITIES 2026 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Elk River Municipal Utilities Commission adopted the 2026 budget, as
contained in the 2026 Annual Business Plan, on December 18, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the Commission has received information from staff on a potential project
necessitating adjustments to the capital project timelines, in particular moving the West
Bank 2 transformer purchase from 2034 to 2027; and
WHEREAS, the Commission views the project as an opportunity to leverage economies
of scale that should be pursued;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
ELK RIVER MUNICIPAL UTILITIES, BASED UPON THE FOREGOING RECITALS
INCORPORATED HEREIN, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Elk River Municipal Utilities 2026 budget is hereby amended as
presented.
