Resolution 26-01
A Resolution of the City of Elk River Housing and Redevelopment Authority, Establishing the
Tax Levy for The Elk River Housing and Redevelopment Authority for the City of Elk River,
Minnesota
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute §469.033, Subd. 6, authorizes the Elk River Housing and Redevelopment
Authority to levy an amount not to exceed .0185 percent of the estimated market value within the city to
be used for housing and redevelopment purposes; and,
WHEREAS, the Elk River Housing and Redevelopment Authority has considered at its meeting on
September 8, 2026, its 2027 budget and levy request; and,
WHEREAS, the Elk River Housing and Redevelopment Authority anticipates expenditures in 2027 for
-irious housing and redevelopment activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Elk River Housing and Redevelopment Authority, as
follows: that it hereby adopts a budget for 2027 in the amount of $520,200, and requests the City Council
of the City of Elk River to levy a tax in the amount of $480,200 for the benefit of the Authority to be used
as provided by Minnesota Statutes.
