MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER VILLAGE PLANNI1'G COMMISSION

Jim Knight, from the planning firm, showed planning map. He had spent time
with the State Highway Department trying to determine the location of the future
#10 bypass. The Highway Department feels that land use will determine this to
some extent in the future.
Received a request from G and A Incorporated to rezone from residential to
commercial Lots 1 and 2, Block 13, Village of Elk River. Planning Commission
suggested the need for a plan of the area development, including location of
parking area with planned flow of traffic and building area, in order to consider
issuance of a special use permit for possible rezoning. See attached letter to
Village Council.
