Regular Village Planning COmmission Meeting.
Those Present: Larry TOth, Dan Bailey, Clifford Lundberg, Dick Gongoll, R
Rex Oettinger, and George Aabee.
Lundberg Homes the developer of a tract of land abutting the village on the
west and just North of Highway No. 10, informed us that because of new
developments and the possiblity of including additional land in the plat,
that a New Preliminary Plat would be forthcoming.
The proposed plat of RIDGWOOD EAST was presented, and it appeared that there
would be no drainage problem as to storm sewers, there being ponding areas
provided that would allow for percolation. There was no indication on the map
as to road contours or grades . A report from Rex Oettinger as to be made before
preliminary approval.
Mayor Lundberg and Bob Siering attended a meeting the the Town Board and
discussed the question of annexation. The TOwn Board felt that since there
was little or nothing they could do there was no reason for them to spend
moeny of the question.
The Village Coufucil is in favor of hiring a planner to go study the
question of planned annexation and/or consolidation.
