The planning commission met with the village council to consider
future development. and planning for the VIllage of Elk Riber. Dick Fredlund
was present and talked of Orderly Growth, or Orderly Annexation, of
Consolidation, and of updating the Zoning ordinance especially concerning
New Flood Plan Regulations.
It was suggested that a planning program be insitutued that would
cover these items and would be participated in by the Village and theTOwnship,
and possibly by the county.
