Members present: Gongol1, Zabee, Beaudr~y, Toth, Lundberg and Holmes.
The minutes of the August 29,1977 meeting were re\Qewed.
l\loved by Commissioner Toth and seconded by Commissioner Gongoll appro.ving the
minutes of the August 29, 1977 meeting as printed. Motion unanimously carried
by a vote of 6-00
The Planned Unit Development site located at Northbound Liquors was discussed.
It was noted that any building permit applications that are submitted for
approval on that site must meet -the over-all concept and footage requirements
that have been set forth.
Joe Bailey met with the Com~ssion requesting a Conditional Usage Permit to
construct a Maso~ic Lodge vuth a caretakers apartment and rental spaee in the
lO"t-Jer le\iel.
l\lr. Gon gOLl stated that he also is a member of the I\1asonic Lodge bul reminded
the Co~~ssion that it has not been the policy of the board to recommend spot
zoning change and Conditional Usage restrictions.
The Co~mission suggested that Joe Bailey amend his petition from a Conditional
Use Perrrat to zoning change from R-l to C-l with a Conditional Usage stipulation.
10 Main floor to be used as Masor~c Lodge.
2. Lower level utility room, three room apartment, commercial rental
space ~rrth a ma)~mlli~ floor space footage.
The Commission re\~ewed the letter from the Minnesota Department of Transporta-
tion regarding turn lanes on Highway #10.
The Commission reviewed the rev~sed State highway department proposed rev~sions
for highway 10 thru t~affic in Elk River City proper.
No further business the meeting adjourned at 9:40 PoM.
