1. Call Meeting to Order
The meeting was called to order at 7:40 P.M.
2. John Weicht Variance
Commissioner Fox informed the Commissioners that a variance had been
granted over a year ago. Conse~uently, it was not necessary to act
on the present variance re~uest.
j. Barthel Homes: Side Yard Variance
No one was present from Barthel Homes. There was a public hearing on
the area of 1192-192nd Avenue in the Ridgewood Addition. MOTION WAS

4. Jer~r Minor: Lot Size Variance for Sunrise Park
There was a public hearing on Jerry Minor's variance for Sunrise Park.
Iiainerd Jacobson wanted to know the nature of the variance. Co~~issioner
Fox said that the lot size was smaller than required. Jer~i did
eliminate one lot thus increasing the size of the remaining 9 lots. Lots
vary in size from~, acres up to 1 acre. Jolln Tillmann as};.:ed about
entrance onto Yale. Jer~r Minor said they would not, plus lot 6
would be residential. John Tillmar~ asked about restrictions on how
close businesses can be located to the property line on yale street.
There does exist alread;y restrictions pointed out-not less than 40'.
There was no additional public CO~uents. The Highway Department gave
an o.k. Commissioner Zabee asked what type of business Minor had in mind.
Jerry Minor had no specific business in mind. Questioned size of lot for
building, were they adequate? Jer~T Minor felt that they were. The lot
size could present requests for future variances. The variance
request is from 2f7 acres d01t\rrl to lots bet't.jeen ~. acre to a little o-,.rer
1 acre. JerrJ' felt it is too costly to build on larger lots. Jerry

6. Don Olmstead: ~,lblic Hearing on Plat
A public hearing was held on the Don Olmstead plat. Richard Helm was
wondering where the lot 2 entrance was. It would go on to Watson
Avenue. He felt not everyone knew of the public hearing. Herb
Adolphson informed him that it was also in the paper. Oliver Lampi
asked about Watson Avenue ch~lging direction and going straight
through. Olmstead said it was not likely. The public hearing was
closed.
7. The meeting was adjourned at 8:07 P.M. by Commissioner Eip~le ~~d
seconded by Commissioner Driessen.
