May Planni?$f COlll111ission Meeting.
May- 24th, 1971.
Minutes of previous meeting read and approved.
Motion Made that the Planning Commission recommend that a study
be made at a cost of up to $300.00 todetermine the effect of
closing the King and Lowell Avenue R.R. Crossings, and that
the Study include a new trafic survey.
Harry Ereuser, appeared and asked for information for
platting his land (150-33--33--26). He is concerned about a
service road. The possibility of such a road running east
from Best point was talked about.
Richard Nelson of Zimmerman appear and asked about a permit
for a trailer or modular hcuseing unit at or west of School and
Proctor (Sopie Carton property). The Question of Sanitary Sewer,
Taxes, Number of Children and drainage were considered. No action
was taken pending new tax laws that might come out of the legislature
and pending a sanitary sewer study.
It was recommended that Hoe Demars reqauest to build a garage
on part of Lot 20 of Aud. Sub. No. 4 be granted with a 5 ft. set back
on each side (North and East).
z Neil Larson appeared and proposed an 18 unit appartment, with
18 single~ car garages and 18 parking slots. parking slots not less
than 8.5 by 20 and ee~3:--~~~~n-e8:-l:l8e-~erm:i:-e and that the
building comply with the conditional use permit regulations. Tafuled
with the request that a plat plan be drawn to conform to the ordinance.
Request for rescning of part of BLock 9 in Orono to R-4. Secretary
instructed to make copies of Pages 50 and 51 of Zoning Ordinance and
send them to the party requesting the change.
Marvin George appeared asking about the village and/or the planning
commissions attitude toward annexing School view Addition.
No action taken because of lack of knowledge concerning the sewer system.
Discussion had concerning the employment of a building inspector.
