RESOLUTION NO. 06-~2
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
TO CHANGE THE LAND USE FROM LI (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL) TO HB (HIGHWAY
BUSINESS)
Case No. LU 06-03
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462.355, Subdivision 2, prescribes the procedure
for amending the Comprehensive Plan, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on Tuesday, April 11, 2006
and recommended approval regarding the Comprehensive Plan amendment request for the property
generally described as:
Outlot A, Leon Lefebvre Addition,
Sherburne County, Minnesota
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has .reviewed the Comprehensive Plan amendment request
and finds the following:
1. The subject property is contiguous with property that is currently guided Highway
Business.
2. The proposed amendment will not have an adverse affect on adjacent properties.
3. The subject property will be included in future commercial redevelopment of the
northwest comer of Ulysses Street and 171st Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River
that the Land Use Plan be amended to change the property as described above from LI (Light
Industrial) to HE (Highway Business).
PASSED by the City Council ofthe City of Elk River this 17th day of April, 2006.
