RESOLUTION 06-~
RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON
S.A.P. 204-137-01 from County Highway 77 (proctor Street) to Jackson Road in the City of Elk River,
Minnesota.
WHEREAS, THIS RESOLUTION was passed this 17th day of April, 2006 by the
City of Elk River in Sherburne County, Minnesota. The Municipal Corporation shall hereinafter
be called the "City", WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the "City", has planned the improvement of HigWand Road, State Aid Route No. 204-
137-01 from County Highway 77 (proctor Street) to Jackson Road in the City of Elk River, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the "City" will be expending Municipal Street Aid Funds on the improvements of this
Street; and
WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for parking on both sides of the
street; and approval of the proposed construction as a Municipal State Aid Street project must therefore be
conditioned upon certain parking restrictions.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
That the "City" shall ban the parking of motor vehicles on both sides of HigWand Road at all times, except
adjacent to the City Park where an expanded parking lane will be constructed.
