Sanitary Sewer---Bad New---No money available.
Joint Meeting with Township on March 24th Re: Consolidation.
March 31st to be next meeting of the planning commission.
Hearing on Change of zoning from R-l to C-l- on the
land occupied by Sachs' store and bear hall, which had burned
down. Larry Toth, Dick GOngoll, Clifford Lundberg, Rex Oettinger
and Dan Bailey, Presence.
There was much talk in favor of the change and a considerable
amount of it came from people that frequented the tavern--not from
the local residents.
The opposition claimed that all the people withing 300 feet had
not received notices.
In the discussion following the presentation of opinions by the
people present, it was pointed out that the boundary lines of the
property to be used where not known. Neither was it known whether
there would be room for a commercial building and the required parking
that would be needed.
Ir was Moved by Larry Toth and Seconded by Rex Oettinger that
any decission be deferred pending a survey and the submission of a
cite plan. . Carried.
