Members Present: Larry Toth, Dick Gongoll, Cliff Lundberg, Rex Oetinger, George Zabee,
Lloyd Barthel and A.l Bailey.
The Commission reviewed the Minnesota State Highway Dept. map layout for the Elk River
area. Al Bailey reviewed what the State plans for the service road by Cretex construct
turn lanes he further stated that the States over all preliminary plans are to close off
the follovdng crossings. Upland, Proctor, and Quinn and use service roadso
The comments of the commission were as follows:
1. Not give up the crossings.
2. Talk more about grade seperations.
3. Do,vntO\1n problems of to and from one side of the City to the
other side over the B.N. rails.
