Introduction
Authorization to hire Park Maintenance Worker.
Discussion
An additional Park Maintenance Worker was included in the 2006 budget. Staff advertised the position in
February and received one hundred and fifteen applications. After interviewing the top five applicants,
the top candidate was Andrew Bentzen. Mr. Bentzen has over eight years experience in streets and park
maintenance with the City of Brooklyn Center, is a member of the Elk River Fire Department, and is a
First Responder.
Financial Impact
Position was budgeted at pay grade 8, level C.
