MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
HELD AT THE ELK RIVER PUBLIC LIBRARY
MONDAY. OCTOBER 9. 1989
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Tralle. Commissioners Dobel. Holmgren and
Kropuenske
MEMBERS ABSENT:
Commissioner Schuldt
STAFF PRESENT:
Pat Klaers. City Administrator; Tim Keane. City Attorney
Chairman Tralle indicated that Executive Director Patrick Klaers has called a
special meeting of the EDA in order to adopt Tax Increment Financing Plan 16.
Chairman Tralle further indicated that the Press was present for this meeting.
The meeting of the Elk River Economic Development Authority was called to
order at 9:05 p.m. by Chairman Tralle.
Tim Keane. City Attorney. indicated that the Tax Increment Financing Plan 16
was originally submitted to the EDA at its September 11. 1989 meeting. Tim
Keane further indicated that the plan has been forwarded to the County and
School District for their comments. He further proceeded to read the
resolution in its entirety.
COMMISSIONER DOBEL MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 89-4. A RESOLUTION OF THE
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY APPROVING THE FINDINGS OF CONDITIONS FOR THE
CREATION OF TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT 16 AS A REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT.
COMMISSIONER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0.
There being no further business. COMMISSIONER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO ADJOURN THE
EDA MEETING. COMMISSIONER DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0.
The meeting of the Elk River Economic Development Authority adjourned at 9:15
p.m.
