CITY OF ELK RIVER PROCLAMATION
ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RUSS MATCHINSKY'S YEARS OF SERVICE TO
SHERBURNE COUNTY AND THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, Russ Matchinsky has served as the Sherburne County
Highway Engineer for over 27 years; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the many activities
professionally administered by Russ Matchinsky that
have benefitted the City of Elk River ranging from a
Federal Sign Program to County Road improvements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes Russ Matchinsky's
leadership and joint cooperation in working with the
City on infrastructure improvements such as the
Proctor Avenue reconstruction, the Fresno Street storm
sewer, the Twin Lakes storm sewer and other numerous
joint city/county projects; and,
.
WHEREAS, the Elk River City Staff appreciates Russ Matchinsky's
experience and sharing of information with the City on
issues such as annual road restrictions, storm water
drainage and traffic studies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Elk River City
Council recognizes the many years of service to
Sherburne County and the City of Elk River provided by
Russ Matchinsky while serving as Sherburne County
Engineer.
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council this 15th day
of March, 1993.
