RESOLUTION 06-76
RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON
County Highway 40 SP 71-596-04 Minn. Proj. No. STPX 7107 (080) from County State Aid Highway 12 to
County State Aid Highway 13 in the City of Elk River, Minnesota.
\X!HEREAS, THIS RESOLUTION was passed this 5th day of June, 2006 by the City of Elk River in
Sherburne County, Minnesota. The Municipal Corporation shall hereinafter be called the "City",
WITNESSETH:
\X!HEREAS, Sherburne County has planned the improvement of County Highway 40 from County
State Aid Highway 12 to County State Aid Highway 13 in the City of Elk River, Minnesota; and
\X!HEREAS, the "County" will be expending Federal Aid Funds on the improvements of this
County Highway; and
\X!HEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for parking on both sides of the
County Highway; and approval of the proposed construction as a federally funded project must therefore be
conditioned upon certain parking restrictions.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: That the "City" shall ban the parking of
motor vehicles on County Highway 40 from County State Aid Highway 12 to County State Aid Highway 13
at all times.
