Very limited discussion has taken place on a name for the
recreation fields area behind the Community Education
building. These fields were developed through a joint venture
between the City and the School District. A name for this area
needs to be selected in order for these fields to be readily
identified to the public when youth activities are scheduled in
this area. The working name currently being used is "Community
Education Fields", and this seems appropriate as long as
Community Education remains in its current building. The
naming of this area is not a major concern at this time, but
may be something that both the Council and the Commission wish
to briefly discuss when Jeff Asfahl is in attendance.
