OUTDOOR ICE FACILITIES
Councilmember Larry Farber has requested that this item be
placed on the agenda for the joint meeting between the Council
and the Park & Recreation Commission. Larry has indicated a
concern regarding the limited number of usable outdoor ice
skating facilities. Larry would like to discuss what plans are
on the table for the creation of more skating rinks in the
future or for the improvement of the existing skating rinks. I
don't think that there is a major concern with this issue, but
it is simply a topic that deserves some attention by both the
Council and Commission.
