CITY PLANNER APPLICATIONS

Steve Rohlf, Building and Zoning Administrator, Lori Johnson,
Finance Director, and myself will be reviewing the city planner
applications over the weekend. We will be meeting on Monday
morning to review which individuals merit an interview for this
position. On Monday evening, a recommendation will be made to
the City Council on which applicants should be invited for an
interview. Also, I will want to discuss with the City Council,
an interview time table and procedure. In this regard I need
to know if the City Council desires to be involved in the
interview process. At this time it is unknown whether or not
we will want to interview five or six and bring back two
finalists or try to keep the number of interviews small and
select a candidate after only one interview and background
check.

All of the applications are available for City Council review.
According to the data privacy law the applications are private,
however, information on the applicants that are selected for
interviews are public information. If the Council so desires,
they should feel free to review these applications which are
located on the table in the Mayor/Council office.
