SUBJECT: POPPY DAY PROCLAMATION
The American Legion Auxiliary has requested that the Mayor
proclaim May 14 as "POppy DAY" and ask that all citizens pay
tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the
name of freedom by wearing the Memorial Poppy on this day.
A representative from the Legion will be present to present the
Mayor with a Poppy and a proclamation for signing.
