Attached is a cover letter from Terry Maurer explaining that a
minor error was made on the plat of Gospodor's Orono Lake
Addition No.1, the site of the new City Hall. Staff
recommends that the City Council make a simple motion to direct
the City Administrator to sign the certification of correction
to this plat.

RE: CERTIFICATE OF CORRECTION TO GOSPODOR'S
ORONO LAKE ADDITION NO. 1
Dear Mr. Klaers:
An error was found on our plat of Gospodor's Orono Lake Addition No.1, and we were
requested by the County Surveyor to process a certificate of correction. We have enclosed a
completed Certificate of Correction to Plat form which needs to be acted upon. The form states
that this needs to be approved at a regular meeting, but the County Surveyor says that this is at
the discretion of the City. It can be approved without going through a Council meeting; only a
signature of a City official is required.
Also enclosed is a copy of the plat which indicates the error that needs to be corrected. The
south line of the section was labeled wrong.
