CITY OF ELK RIVER PROCLAMATION
MISS ELK RIVER WEEK
JUNE 13-19, 1993
WHEREAS, Miss Elk River, Heather Fox, has competed in the Miss
Minnesota Pageant; and,
WHEREAS, Miss Elk River is a representative of the City of Elk
River at numerous events around the State of
Minnesota; and,
WHEREAS, while serving as Miss Elk River, Heather Fox has
shared her talent of dance at various community
celebrations, meetings and activities; and,
WHEREAS, during Heather Fox's reign as Miss Elk River, she has
served as a spokesperson for the community of Elk
River by inviting surrounding communities to Elk River
events and celebrations; and,
WHEREAS, the Elk River Jaycees are producing the Sixth annual
Miss Elk River Scholarship Pageant in July, 1993.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Elk River, that the week of June 13 - 19, 1993, be
hereby proclaimed:
"MISS ELK RIVER WEEK"
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council the 7th day of
June, 1993.
