The problem is maintaining a short length of gravel road with
the acceleration and deceleration of passing vehicles causing
a continual "washboard" effect.
I would request that the City Council authorize the
solicitation of quotes to have this section paved with a 2"
thick bituminous surface. Estimated costs would be
approximately $11,000 and these monies could come from the
General Fund overlay budget, the Street Reserve, or the Capital
Project account.
