SUBJECT: REAPPORTIONMENT OF ASSESSMENTS ON
CHERRYHILL BLUFFS 2ND ADDITION
The original parcel from which Cherryhi11 Bluffs 2nd Addition
was platted had special assessments levied for the 1981 sewer
interceptor. State law requires that assessments levied be
formally reapportioned by the City Council if the property is
split. Therefore, attached you will find a list of the
assessments as reapportioned to the 31 lots in Cherryhill
Bluffs 2nd Addition. The original parcel, 75-127-4201, has a
balance remaining of $2,129.32 for the 1981 sewer interceptor.
The City Council is asked to adopt a motion approving the
reapportionment of special assessments from parcel 75-127-4201
for the 1981 sewer interceptor as detailed on the attached
reapportionment list.

CITY OF ELK RIVER
ASSESSMENT SEARCH POLICY
The City of Elk River receives numerous requests for
special assessment information on properties located within the
City. In response to a request for special assessment
information, the City will provide a written special assessment
search. There will be a fee for each parcel on which a written
special assessment search is provided. This fee will be set by
the City Council and may be adjusted as necessary.
Written special assessment searches will be processed in a
timely manner. All searches will be processed within seven
business days from receipt of the request. A minimum of 24
hour notice is required for a written search. A $5.00
surcharge will be applied to any special assessment search
which is requested to be processed in less than the required 24
hour notice.
In an effort to eliminate misunderstandings regarding special
assessment balances and the method of payment, verbal special
assessment searches will NOT be provided.
