CAMP COURAGE WAGON TRAIN

Kyle Hunstad, representing Camp Courage Wagon Train, has requested to make a
presentation to the City Council. The wagon train will be passing through Elk River as it
has for several years. This year the wagon train is requesting to spend the "layover days"
in Elk River. The wagon train will run from June 10 - 19 and is planning to stay in Elk
River on Wednesday and Thursday, June 15 and 16. I believe arrangements are being
made to layover at the Sherburne County Fairgrounds.
e The purpose of the wagon train is to raise money to help send children and adults with
physical disabilities and sensoI)' impairments to Camp Courage. Roger Berg and Kyle
Hunstad representing Camp Courage will be present on Monday evening to inform the
Council about this event. They will also have a short 5-minute video to show the Council.
I believe the main purpose of the presentation is to seek support from the community.
