The American Legion Post #112 has made application for

September of 1993. As shown by the chart below, the American
Legion has contributed 92% of its expenditures to the City's
trade area. The City's trade area consists of the communities
of Elk River, Rogers, Zimmerman, Otsego, and Ramsey.

If the Council approves of this Premise Permit, the attached
resolution must be adopted by the City Council.

RESOLUTION 93 -
RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PREMISES PERMIT APPLICATION
FOR THE AMERICAN LEGION POST #112
WHEREAS, the American Legion Post #112 has made application for
a renewal of their existing Premises Permit; and,
WHEREAS, said Premises Permit will allow the activity of
charitable gambling to take place at the American
Legion #112, 525 Railroad Drive; and,
WHEREAS, the American Legion Post #112 has met the City's
requirement of spending 75% of the net charitable
gambling profits within the City's Trade Area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of Elk River authorizes the renewal of the
Premises Permit to the American Legion Post #112,
allowing charitable gambling to take place at the
American Legion in Elk River.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of ELk River
this 22nd day of November, 1993.
