SUBJECT: SPECIAL ASSESSMENT REAPPORTIONMENT
The Mississippi Oaks plat was recently recorded; therefore, the
City Council must reapportion the assessments on these parcels
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.081. There are two parcels
which were included in the Mississippi Oaks plat. Each of the
parcels had two assessments; one for 1981 sanitary sewer
interceptor project, and the other for the 1992 western area
improvement project. All four of the assessments were
deferred. The 1992 western area improvement assessments were
deferred without interest. Parcel numbers and assessments are
as follows:

All of the assessments on parcel 75-005-1200 have been
reapportioned to the 37 lots in Mississippi Oaks. Only five
acres of parcel 75-132-4110 are included in the Mississippi
Oaks plat. The assessments on this parcel have been pro-rated
and the portion applicable to Mississippi Oaks has been
reapportioned to the 37 lots in the plat.
The City Council is asked to approve the special assessment
reapportionment to Mississippi Oaks.
