A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING M.A.S.C. MIGHTY KIDS GRANT
FUNDING FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A
CONCESSION/SHELTER AT THE YOUTH SPORTS COMPLEX
the Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission (MASC), via the
State General Fund, provides funds to assist political
subdivisions of the State of Minnesota for' the development of
youth sports and recreation programs; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River desires to develop a concession/shelter at
the Youth Sports Complex.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Elk River as follows:
That the estimated total cost of developing said program shall be
$40,000 and the City of Elk River is requesting $20,000 from the State
General Fund.
That the Community Recreation Director is authorized and directed to
execute said apphcation and serve as the official liaison with the
Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 29th day
of June, 1998.
