i\.ccording to state statute tlle city is required to can-vas tile results of tile Primary Election '\vitlUn t\vo
days after tlle Primary. A quorum of the Council acts as tlle Can'Tassing Board and must adopt a
resolution certifying tlle results of tlle Primary by September 14, 2006.
