This item llas been postponed until tile September 18, 2006 City Council meeting.
Discussion
i\t dle August 8, 2006 Planning Cormnission meeting, staff presented tlle Bauerly Bros., Inc. request to
operate an aspllalt plant and tlucking operation on the Ernest Toth site for tlle consnuction of state,
CQU11ty', to\vnship and local road\vays. This request \vas postponed due to COlnments received from
l1eigllbors of tlle site and Planning Cormnissioners. TIle comments included traffic, dust, Ilours of
operation, odor, and \VI1edler tllls should be an interuTI use rather tllan a conditional use. Staff \vill be
researching tllese corrunents and present tile information to the Planning Commission at tlleir Septelnber
lneetlng.
Action Requested
Staff recommends dlls iteln be postponed until tile September 18, 2006 City Council meeting in order to
address cOlrunents received from citizens and Planning Commissioners.
