SUBJECT: Application for authorization for
exemption from lawful gambling license
by Church of St. Andrew
INTRODUCTION
The Church of St. Andrew has made application for an exemption from lawful
gambling license. The license will allow St. Andrew's Church to hold a raffle
on June 4.
tt BACKGROUND
An exemption from lawful gambling license allows an organization to conduct
5 or fewer gambling events during one year and limits the prize award to a
total of $50,000 for the entire year. An application must be made for each
event.
ACTION REQUESTED
A motion approving application for exemption from lawful gambling license
for the Church of St. Andrew.
