JOINT MEETING

Staff has been advised that there is a Health Care Delivery Commission
meeting scheduled for 5/5/94 which causes a conflict for a couple of people
who are planning to attend the special meeting between the Fire Department
and the City Council. By Monday evening, we hope to have a few alternate
dates for this joint meeting from Jim Nystrom, Assistant Chief and President
of the Relief Association. If a date can be determined, a motion should be
made by the Council rescinding its 4/11/94 motion that called for the 5/5/94
special meeting. Following this motion, the Council should then call a special
meeting for whatever date, time, and location is determined best.
