Introduction
The Council needs to set a Special Meeting Date and time to canvass the results of the General Election.
Discussion
According to state statute the city is required to canvas the results of the General Election within seven
days after the General Election. A quorum of the Council acts as the Canvassing Board and must adopt a
resolution certifying the results of the General Election by November 14, 2006.
