SUBJECT: REQUEST TO AUTHORIZE HIRING A
PLANNING INTERN
Last week Sandy Thackeray, Gary Schmitz, and myself interviewed three
candidates for the Planning Intern position. Each of the candidates made
excellent presentations, however, it was the consensus of the group to offer
the position to Troy Langer.
Troy has had some experience with other communities and will therefore,
provide immediate assistance with the City's planning efforts.

If any of the City Council members would like additional information on
Troy, please feel free to contact me.
RECOMMENDATION
It is requested the City Council authorize staff to offer the Planning Intern
position to Troy Langer at the starting wage of $8.00 per hour.
